Why smoking is harmfull?

In recent years, cigarette smoking is a foremost reason of death in the United States. Cigarette smokers expires a standard of 10 years earlier than non-smokers. Tobacco is accountable for more than half of the fatalities from cancer.

In 1980’s smoking was ranked first for the cause for coronary heart disease. Most of the people smoke 1-5 cigarettes per day; this increases the risk for occurrence of heart attack by 40percent. Smoking is too injurious to health leading to various heart related problems which are accounted in women too nowadays. Totally about 13% of men and 19 % of women smoke in the every region of the world. At present day every about 15% of the teens have started smoking every day.

Why the cigarettes do are very dangerous and harmful to health? This is the important question for which answer must be known by everyone so that it will be reasonable to quit smoking. Single cigarette consists of about 4000 chemicals which are exceedingly poisonous. Nicotine is the active component in the cigarette and is very much addictive stimulating the physical and mental dependency. Apart from nicotine it also contains tobacco, polycyclic hydrocarbons, nitrosamines, inorganic compounds and aldehydes. These chemicals are highly carcinogenic and tobacco contains nitrosamines which are exceedingly carcinogenic. Nitrosamines are released when smoking tobacco, chewing tobacco and second hand smoking. These chemicals have an effect on mouth, nose, throat and lungs creating irritation and inflammation to the cells leading to cancer.

Tobacco and nicotine have a lot of effect for the user. Most of the effects lead to cancer which is a deadly disease.
