Amphetamines toxicity

Amphetamines are drugs that are CNS stimulant and possess euphoria properties. Moreover drug’s toxic undesirable effects comprise delirium, hypertension, attack, and hyperthermia. Toxicity is handled with sympathetic care, as well as IV benzodiazepines for anxiety, hypertension, and convulsion and cooling procedure for hyperthermia (over heat). There is no conventional withdrawal syndrome. (more…)
