Opiate drug addiction is followed from early centuries. It was widely used in world wars to treat the pain. It is one of the potent pain reliever. Opium is derived from the poppy seed and first synthetic Opoids is the heroin. Civil war soldiers are treated using the potent Opoids. The various synthetic Opoids include morphine and codeine.
