When you want to escape in to addiction, you should do something to feel good like doing something to excel in your work, doing something to excel in sports, doing something to excel in music.
If you want to give up addiction, you should have some expectation to meet the challenges you face while you deal with addiction. You should be open to possibilities and you should live in a way to feel gainful.
When you work in a bit, the way you will feel about yourself will change with each day. You will see that when you are good, your have a better sense of self-esteem. Sometimes you will have a low self-esteem and you do not feel any better. Do those things that improve your self-esteem.
You need to know that addiction can be broken. If you are self centered you are going to be addicted. Come out of being self-centered and you will see there is a world around you. The illness of addiction says you are worthless, but hope says you can feel better.
You want to make healthy decisions that will give a feeling of celebrating and enjoying your life without side effects. Feel good about yourself and do things that will make you feel good about yourself.
