If a drug overdose is revealed or suspected and the user is down for the breathe count with seizure, or lifeless then the user must seek emergency treatment. If the person is with over dose drug abuse and not having warning sign then he must be admitted in a poisonous control center at once without delaying. Enough information about the drug abuse must be provided to the poison control center so that they can assist to conclude what the next track of stroke should be.

Emergency medical treatment possibly will include the following procedures.

· Evaluation of the patient’s airway and inhalation to ensure that the trachea, the passageway to the lungs is not barren. A tube might be introduced all the way through the mouth and into the trachea to aid the patient inhalation. This process is called intubation which is first given emergency treatment.

· Evaluation of the patient’s pulse rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and other physical indications. These may point to the effects of the drug.

· Next it is preceded with Blood and urine sample collection. Laboratories will test with these samples for the existence of the suspected overdose drug and any additional drugs or alcohols that may be exist in the sample.

· Drugs can be eliminated by inducing Vomiting which may be induced by using ipecac syrup or other stuffs that cause vomiting. This syrup must not be given in the case overdose of drugs like tricyclic antidepressants since it may result in severe mental disturbance.

When the patient is admitted for the emergency treatment, evaluation of urine sample also will be conducted to check the presence of drugs like drug screen tricyclic antidepressant, anti depressant drug tricyclic urine, medical drug testing, hydrocodone drug testing, and cannabis drug test.
