yes, it is the most commonly abused. If the correct treatment is not found, it can kill through disease, and if you are trying to quit it could kill you that way too, so see a doctor and have a medically managed detox if necessary.

Drug test kits for home are rising in popularity. I think a lot of that is directly related to parents testing their own kids. Although I think parents should know what their kids are up to, I think it is more important for them to build a trusting relationship and if the use of a psychotherapist is needed…then go for it.

Detox and Rehabilitation is truly the best way out of any sort of drug addiction…including alcohol. So many people don’t understand to are blind to the fact alcohol is a depressant. Some people deal with stess by drinking and it is like adding fuel to the fire.
