Ecstasy is more likely to kill adults and teens and healthy people than other stimulants such as speed or meth. Ecstasy is referred to as club drugs where these drugs are highly abused in clubs by teens.

A study conducted based on stimulant death between 1997 – 2007 reveals that people who depart their life was mainly due to ecstasy addiction and moreover the victims are young adults, healthier adults had departed their life after amphetamine addiction on daily basis. This study states that young ones are vulnerable victims for the club drugs such as ecstasy. Adult appeared to show that they are more likely to become victims for ecstasy.

Club drug addiction is an immense health distress. A data from national program on substance abuse deaths database shows that about 832 people were found dead after amphetamine and methamphetamine drug addiction and about 605 were dead due to ecstasy addiction. Deaths from ecstasy have become more common where fatalities are young ones and healthy folks.

Young adults between the ages 16 to 24 appear to undergo extreme consequences after too much intake of ecstasy. The effects of both ecstasy and amphetamines are similar in which they belong to same pharmacological group. Intrinsic toxicity of ecstasy seems to be very high compared to amphetamines. Ecstasy is ranked high along with heroin and cocaine in most of the countries. Young people between the ages 16 -17 are more vulnerable as their brain is still developing hence they are easily trapped in to the drug world.

Ecstasy drug addiction can be treated with the cooperation of teens with treatment. Ecstasy drug test, ecstasy pill test, xtasy piss test, ecstasy urine test are test conducted in teen drug testing. As the rate of victims are increasing, rehab programs are looking to prevent the death.
