According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, more than two-thirds of individuals who account abusing drugs and alcohol are working. Drug users are almost four times prone to get caught up in a workplace accident as solemn personnel and five times as likely to file a workers’ compensation claim, according to a stat. Some employers are worried on the harm that they deem, can be caused to the reputations of their organization as a consequence of alcohol and drug use amongst their labor force. The use of illicit drugs by employees will be a mostly susceptible issue in some professions, such as the police force and the prison service.
